We do NOT send "bills" of any kind, snail or electonic, seeking advertising for our magazine. We contact our advertisers personally to see if they desire to maintain, or establish, their presence in The "Utah State Trooper" Magazine, or participate in our charities.
Our O N L Y Address, Phone Number and Official Names are listed below.
Recently there have been unscrupulous criminals sending "bills" to our advertisers and friends, directing payment to be sent to some address other than the UHPA. We are not affiliated with any other organization for our Utah State Trooper subscriptions or for our charities. No other entity whatsoever represents the Utah State Troopers, no matter what they tell you on the telephone!
Criminals who send phony bills to our advertisers are under investigation by Utah and other states. They have been scamming the advertisers for other police agencies as well.
There is only one mailing address we use for the Utah State Trooper Magazine, and only two telephone numbers, listed below. Our Magazine representatives are all employed by the Utah Highway Patrol Association (UHPA), and will positively identify themselves as representatives of the Utah Highway Patrol Association. Our Magazine Publisher will Telephone-I.D. for you at the below number.
Throughout each year the UHPA gives considerable sums to charitable and other worthy projects including scholarships and our own
Utah State Trooper registered 501(c)(3) charity organization.
The UHPA files an annual financial report with the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Consumer Protection. We are a member of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Our members and those who benefit from our efforts receive continued financial support from the Utah State Trooper Magazine. Our Board of Directors do everything possible to ensure that the generosity and goodwill of our sponsors and contributors are wisely and legally used.
The Utah Highway Patrol Association© is a "Non-Profit" Organization, not a "Charity". We donate our UHPA proceeds to worthy causes and our
Honoring Heroes Foundation as well as other needful projects sponsored and approved by the UHPA Board.
We do not sell subscriptions to our magazine. We invite upstanding businesses to place ads in our magazine, the "Utah State Trooper Magazine".
If you, or your business/organization, recieve any type of "billing" from any source whatsoever, claiming to represent us, please call J.J. at the above number. We will come to you and collect the fraudulent documents to use in our prosecution of the criminals.
